Youth

With the heavy subject matter of yesterdays painting, I felt like doing a lighter one for todays. On the painting you see an older woman looking at a painting by impressionist Corinth in the Kunsthalle in Hamburg. On Corinths painting you see a young woman brushing her hair, while a man is standing behind her watching. The young woman on the painting will stay like this forever, while the woman looking at her is getting older by the minute with all the difficulties that come with age, as the cain clearly shows. Still she's enjoying herself and simple has a good time!

If you would like to have this blog painting just click on the link beneath the painting to place your bid. The auction only lasts for 10 days and you can expect the painting within a week to 10 days after the auction ends.

kind regards, Gerard Boersma
