16.1.26Lays Cheddar And Sour Cream- Still Life Painting Of A Bags Of Lays Potato Chips In Supermarket Lays Cheddar And Sour Cream
G. Boersma SOLD This still life painting shows different flavors of Lays potato chips in a supermarket. To me potato chips symbolize indulgence, enjoyment and the desire to savor life's pleasures. But it can also represent a lack of willpower. We all know it's pretty tough to eat just one potato chip and be done with it. All the best, Gerard

11.6.10Family- Still Life Painting Of Classic Lay's Potato Chips Family After painting the beers recently I just had to paint me some chips to go with it as well. Todays painting shows a couple of classic family sized bags of Lay's chips. Just as Beer the painting is situated at an American supermarket, although it's hard to tell this time. kind regards, Gerard webshop
20.3.09Lays - still life of potato chips
For the first time ever I made a larger sized still life! Of course it's not your regular still life, it's one I encountered in my local supermarket while doing my groceries. On the shelf I saw thes bags of potato chips and the colours really spoke to me. It ws kind of tricky to paint the labels of the bags a couple of times, but they do give the painting a nice rhythm so to speak.
In other news yesterday I was interviewed by Friesch Dagblad. They're going to do a rather larger article about me in next week saturdays issue. So not the one of tomorrow, but the week after that. Since it is a Dutch newspaper the article will be only available in Dutch. Today I got my picture taken by their photograph, nice pic of me in front of my work. Have a great weekend! kind regards, Gerard Lays G.
