Back from Amsterdam

The show in the Amstelchurch has ended and today I went to pick up my paintings in Amsterdam. I spent the most of my time in the train today. The Dutch trains are famous for their delays nowadays and today wasn't any different. I was hoping I could squeeze some painting time in and finish a painting today, but no such luck. Oh well, tomorrow I defenitely finish it. Hold on till then and in the meantime enjoy Max.

Shopping malls are always very inspirational for me as a painter. A lot of people are busy buying stuff, but every now and then you see a person whos just sits down and enjoys the scenery. The woman on my painting is just doing that. There's a lot to see as well, a lot of shining things all over the place. The painting is situated in Japan and is part of my series about the land of the rising sun.
