8.6.26The Blue Robe- Painting Of A Man Enjoying A Painting By Will Barnet The Blue Robe
G. Boersma This painting depicts a man enjoying a painting by Will Barnet(1911–2012), a prominent American visual artist and teacher. Barnet viewed painting as a near-religious and meditative experience. Rather than creating an exact optical replica of life, his goal was to find the "hidden meaning" beneath the surface of things seen. All the best, Gerard
25.10.25Reader- Painting Of A Woman Enjoying A Painting By Will Barnet Reader
G. Boersma SOLD This painting shows a woman enjoying a painting of a woman reading in bed by Will Barnet. This American artist is known for its exploration of the relationship between the human figure and abstract forms. He frequently used imagery of solitary figures, family, and animals (especially birds and cats) to symbolize the connection between the internal and external world. All the best, Gerard

26.7.18Atlanta- Painting Of Woman Enjoying Painting By Will Barnet
Atlanta G. Boersma SOLD Last week I had so much fun painting my Woman Reading by Will Barnet I couldn't resist painting another one. On this study we see a figure enjoying Barnet's Atlanta showing a woman deep in thought in front of a window. On the top right we see two love birds looking down on the scene. I really enjoy Barnet's casual scenes of daily life and transcendent dreamlike worlds. I'm sure my figure does too. If you're interested in purchasing this small study just send me an email to info@gerardboersma.nl or click on the link above. kind regards, Gerard

18.7.18Woman Reading- Painting Of Woman Enjoying Painting By Will Barnet
Woman Reading G. Boersma SOLD On my painting we see a figure enjoying a painting by Will Barnet of a female laying in bed reading a blue book next to her white cat. Will Barnet was an American artist known for his works of the human figure and animals, both in casual scenes of daily life and in transcendent dreamlike worlds. As the artist portrays his relatives and pets in his pictures, many say that Barnet 'makes us experience the universal from the personal'. I tend to agree with this statement. If you're interested in purchasing this small study just send me an email to info@gerardboersma.nl or click on the link above. kind regards, Gerard
