29.2.08Daily Painters Gallery
This week I got accepted into the Daily Painters Gallery! For those that have never heard of this site, it is the first and largest juried gallery of daily painting artists.
Daily Painters.com was founded in 2006 by artist and daily painter Micah Condon. The group exists of 140 international artists, varying in style but all dedicated to paint everyday. I'm very honoured to be part of this elite group! New isn't my painting 'The Cook' but it is back on auction again. Have a nice weekend! kind regards, Gerard Boersma
21.1.08The Cook
Since I like to paint big modern cities, people advice me to go to Japan all the time. I would love to go for sure, but unfortunately a ticket to the land of the rising sun is still quite expensive. Luckily I recently linked up with www.photopassjapan.com, a great site for everybody interested in Japan. They were kind enough to lend me some pictures which I found really inspiring for my paintings. The first painting in this new series of paintings is 'The Cook', I hope you enjoy it!
kind regards, Gerard Boersma
