With all my smaller shoe paintings I've done recently of course I couldn't resist the temptation of painting a larger one as well. You cannot see it on the pictures, but the smaller ones are about life size, so this one is larger than life.

There's something funny about painting things larger than life, it makes the object looking kind of weird, but then again it doesn't. I for one defenitely like it! The painting can be seen at the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam which opens tomorrow.

I'm loving the shape of this black open toe high heel by Jimmy Choo! This painting and my other shoe paintings can be seen at the Affordable Art Fair in Amsterdam.

The fair doesn't open untill this thursday 28 oct, but today Petra of Amstel Gallery already decorated the stand for tomorrows invitation only preview. She was kind enough to email this pic below showing the booth. Looks great, doesn't it? Next to my shoes you can see my painting Art Business which I completed earlier this year.

Whenever I have a hole in my shoe, it usually doesn't look classy at all. Either it means I need to repair it or buy some new ones. Not so with todays high heels by Jimmy Choo, it looks real classy to me!

In other news, I just started working on a larger scaled painting again. It features some famous persons, well at least in The Netherlands that is. I'm not going to tell who they are yet, I tell you in due time, but I can tell you that the painting is going to be a beauty!
