Bigger Splash Still Life G. Boersma SOLD Well this was bound to happen someday. Instead of someone admiring a painting in a museum, I was curious what would happen if I just showed the painting by itself. So now I made a copy of a painting without it being a forgery. Splash study of a woman enjoying A Bigger Splash by David Hockney G. Boersma SOLD A Bigger Splash is a large pop art painting by British artist David Hockney. It depicts a swimming pool beside a modern house in California, disturbed by a large splash of water created by an unseen figure who has apparently just jumped in from a diving board. The violent explosion of water caused by diver doesn't disturb the woman on my small study, she remains calm like the rest of Hockney's picture.
