This framed work of 93,3 x 70 cm shows a woman in front of a hot dog stand on the steps of the Guggenheim Museum in New York. I created this painting after my first gallery exhibition in New York in 2004. It has been in a private collection for many years, but is now available again as the collector is moving into a much smaller house and unfortunately no longer has room for the painting.

All the best, Gerard

The Chain

Like yesterday todays painting is also inspired by a larger sized painting of mine called The Chain. You see a woman standing in front of a hot-dogstand in front of the Guggenheim Museum in New York. She would like to order something, but there's no assistant in sight. She wants something that's right in front of her nose, but she cannot get it. She's chained.

kind regards, Gerard Boersma
