LA Art Show

From Rembrandt to Ruscha and beyond. I'm proud to announce that for the third time in a row my work can be seen at the booth of Amstel Gallery at the LA Art Show in Los Angeles. The centerpiece of the citywide Los Angeles Arts Month, returns to LA's renowned Convention Center from january 19-23.

The 16th annual LA Art Show showcases over 100 prominent galleries from around the globe showing a dazzling array of art from old masters to cutting edge contemporary artists. It will kick off with an Opening Night Premiere Party on Wednesday January 19 with attendees like museum patrons, political dignitaries, collectors and celebrities.

I will show some of my latest larger sized hyperrealism paintings. More information about the LA Art Show can be found here.

kind regards, Gerard

Art Chicago

Besides the LA Art Show in Los Angeles in january this year and the AAF London in march my paintings can also be seen from april 30 - may 3 at Art Chicago in Chicago at the Amstel Gallery booth.

Art Chicago is one of the leading American art fairs and annually brings together the absolute top of the art world. Only the world's leading emerging and established galleries are invited, of course my gallery Amstel Gallery cannot be absent!

Art Chicago offers curators, collectors, artists and art enthusiasts a comprehensive survey of current and historic work, from cutting-edge to modern masters. Amstel Gallery presents works from my ongoing series of paintings of art within art or people admiring art and a large number of small works.

Other artists Amstel Gallery shows include Carole Feuerman, Jean Wells, Andy Moses, Daniel Maltzman, Ronald Ceuppens, Klaas Verscheure, Koen Vanmechelen, Casper Faassen, Ans Markus, George Heidweiler, Patria Steur and Mel Bagshaw . Especially for the art fair Art Chicago publishes a catalogue which features my painting Swing. You can find Amstel Gallery at booth 12-145 at Art Chicago.

kind regards, Gerard
