The first time I visited New York I stayed in a lovely loft on Houston Street. From there I explored the city either by foot or the subway. Todays painting shows the subway station I often took. The scene spoke to me because of the strong perspective and the train heading towards you. I wish you could see it for real, the painting is way more detailed than the picture.
