It's so much fun making these still life paintings of books. You have to imagine that at first the painting looks pretty awful, just a bunch of different strokes of color right next to each other. It always looks like the painting is going nowhere and you get pretty frustrated with it. But as long as you keep on keeping on suddenly the painting comes together just great. Magic!
