Lays - still life of potato chips

For the first time ever I made a larger sized still life! Of course it's not your regular still life, it's one I encountered in my local supermarket while doing my groceries. On the shelf I saw thes bags of potato chips and the colours really spoke to me. It ws kind of tricky to paint the labels of the bags a couple of times, but they do give the painting a nice rhythm so to speak.

In other news yesterday I was interviewed by Friesch Dagblad. They're going to do a rather larger article about me in next week saturdays issue. So not the one of tomorrow, but the week after that. Since it is a Dutch newspaper the article will be only available in Dutch. Today I got my picture taken by their photograph, nice pic of me in front of my work. Have a great weekend!
