Daily realism paintings by Gerard Boersma: The Chair

As you might know I recently had a show in Amsterdam. The day we were hanging all the art in place, I had some time left to hit town. I took a long walk and ended up in the newly build library of Amsterdam. A great spot even if you don't like to read at all. The designs are amazing and fully up to date. In a corner I spotted this man leaning back while he enjoyed a good book. I just had to paint that!
