23.6.17Kickstarter Campaign Ended
Kickstarter Campaign Ended Yesterday my Kickstarter campaign to support me to paint large scale masterpieces came to an end. I'm sorry to say I didn't get fully funded, but happy to report I got enough backers to paint one large painting! This last month has been something of a roller coaster with lots of ups and downs, but I'm thrilled about all the support you guys gave me. Last days Kickstarter Campaign With just a few days to go it looks like I'm not hitting my target on Kickstarter. As you might know when I don't reach my goal on Kickstarter all donations are returned to the backers and the whole project is a no go. Masterpiece
I painted this self portrait of me enjoying a painting by Roy Lichtenstein entitled Masterpiece especially for my Kickstarter campaign. As you know by now I'm looking to paint large masterpieces and to show them in New York. The text on Lichtenstein's piece fits very well :) This afternoon I'm bringing my paintings to Met Verve, the store where I get all my supplies in my hometown Leeuwarden (Noordvliet 351). From june 2 - june 3 I'm showing my work there. On saturday june 3 I'll be there from 13.00- 17.00h talking about my work and also do a little painting. You're welcome to join us!
